So, I must admit, I hesitated to include this page as part of this blog.  I am a follower of Jesus Christ.  I love the Word of God and I have great passion to for others to understand the Christ that I have come to know from the Bible.  That is, the Son of God that was prophesied from the beginning.  After some thought and prayer, I decided to include a separate page devoted to things I am learning from God’s Word.  My desire is not offense, but simply to have an outlet for the love that I have for Him.

My children recently showed some curiosity about what Heaven will look like.  We decided to read through Revelation together.  This is quite a lot for eight year olds to take in!  Even as an adult, I sometimes want to pull my hair out from lack of understanding.  Yet, God seems to be blessing our time together.  A couple of days ago, we were reading from Revelation 7.  I particularly liked this passage about those that would refuse to deny God in the last days.  “They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters.  And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” Rev. 7:16 &17.

Is there any blessing greater than Jesus wiping away our tears and shepherding us as His cherished flock?
